Additional Information

Your facilitators: Rose Rigley is a Cairns-based conceptual artist who values engagement, connection and collaboration. Utilising a broad range of media, including artist books, sculptural assemblage, and installation, the artist seeks to find the universal in the personal. Memory, loss and language overlay her artworks and inform her creative intentions. Collaboration is at the heart of Rose’s creative endeavours. As a regional artist, she recognises that  self-starting, motivated artists can group together towards a common outcome – a vibrant and sustainable community. These expansive projects, (both formal or otherwise), enrich and challenge all participants and can be thought provoking, engaging and  just FUN! Since 2012, Rose has worked closely with a broard range of individuals, artist groups, organisations and communities.
