Take the opportunity to discuss your arts practice one-on-one in a one-hour consultation with a respected industry professional.
Artist Consultations are self-directed to provide maximum benefit to you as an artist or artsworker. Suggestions for discussion include:
– Mapping out your career direction
– Gaining feedback on your portfolio
– Asking for advice on specific industry practices
– The sky is the limit!
Session bookings are available in one hour time slots between 9am and 5pm. Sessions can be attended in person at the Flying Arts office in Fortitude Valley, or accessed remotely via Skype.
$65 ($60 for Flying Arts Members)

Participants to Bring:
– Any resources, artwork, portfolios or other items that will assist you with your consultation
Flying Arts will provide a computer and internet access for sessions attended in person for access to online resources if required.
Additional Information
Director of Jan Manton Art in Spring Hill, Jan has been a long-time supporter of the visual arts in Queensland. She sits on the committee of both Art from the Margins and The Queensland Children’s Hospital Arts Program.
Jan is past President of Flying Arts, a previous member of the QUT Art Collection Committee, Steering Committee for the Harries Digital Art Award and Caboolture Shire Council Art Collection Committee, and was Chair of the fundraising campaign for the QUT Art Museum in 2004 and has supported young artists in the past through the Byran-Manton Art Prize for QUT Visual Art Graduates.
