Join Dr Louise R Mayhew in this 2-day intensive program designed for early-career artists and arts workers. In this program you will connect with peers to collaboratively resolve a creative ‘toolkit’, consisting of a:
- Artist CV
- Artist biography
- Artwork statement/s, and
- Online presence
In addition to this, Louise will talk you through key networking, pitching and collaboration skills, essential for any contemporary artist.
This all-rounder workshop is perfect for developing new professional content, or critically revising your current documents so you can focus on your main love – creating!
Please bring:
- Images of your work for sharing with your fellow participants
- Your current bio, CV and an artist statement – if you have them!
- Materials for note-taking
- Lunch or snacks
Additional Information
Dr Louise R Mayhew is an Australian Feminist Art Historian based in Redcliffe on Gubbi Gubbi (Kabi Kabi) and Ningy Ningy country. Following a decade teaching art history, Louise freelances as an art writer, editor and mentor for creatives throughout Australia. She is the Founding Editor of Lemonade: art criticism for the Sunshine state, and her writing appears in Art Almanac, Art Monthly Australia, Eyeline, SUNNIE and more. Louise is endlessly excited about art, and she believes that all artists deserve enthusiastic, accessible, goal-oriented support.
