Join Flying Arts Professional Installer Ed Niznik for a hands-on experience behind the scenes to learn about how a touring exhibition is brought together.
In the first session, learn about what is logistically required for safely delivering a touring exhibition. Learn all the tricks of the trade including what goes into crating and freighting, safely wrapping and packing artworks and how to ensure the gallery knows all about your works.
In the second session, delve deeper into the intricacies of installing an exhibition. Learn about art handling, curation and professional installation standards, as well as skills like levelling, using a track hanging system and lighting.
Perfect for artists, arts workers or gallery volunteers interested in learning more about professional standards and tips and tricks of exhibition delivery. Come along to one or both sessions!
