Successful Grant Recipients are responsible for meeting the terms and conditions of the grant agreement and managing the activity efficiently and effectively. You are also required to comply with record keeping, reporting and acquittal requirements as set out in the grant agreement.

Funding recipients will: 

  • be required to complete and sign an Acceptance of Grant Conditions Form, and invoice at least ten working days prior to the starting date of the proposed project or program to ensure adequate time is available for payments to be processed
  • receive funds within ten working days of receipt of the signed Acceptance of Grant Conditions Form and invoice
  • be required to submit an acquittal report to Flying Arts Alliance within 40 days of completing the project or program

Acquitting your grant

Your final report (acquittal report) must be submitted within 40 days of completion of the grant activity, unless otherwise stated in your grant agreement. In your acquittal, we will ask for data and stories around the following areas:

  • Project Plan: Changes to the plan, and reflections on successes.
  • Regional Arts Fund outcomes: Impact, Support & Partnerships, Reach, and Opportunity.
  • People Data: Employment, professional development, audiences, participants.
  • Budget: Actual income and expenditure, leveraged income, and in-kind support.
  • Images: At least two high quality images of the project.

Acquittal Reports are to be submitted via the Flying Arts Alliance SmartyGrants portal.

Terms of Funding

These Terms of Funding together with the Acceptance of Grant Conditions make up the Funding Agreement between Flying Arts Alliance and the Successful Applicant.

An Acceptance of Grant Conditions Form will be added to your application in SmartyGrants.


Acknowledgement

You will be required to identify and maximise opportunities to promote the Australian Government contribution to the project, including through print media, social media, and other forms of electronic media. Please note that all funded projects are required to use the Flying Arts logo, Australian Government Regional Arts Fund logo, Regional Arts Australia logo and, the following statement provided by the Government:

‘This project was made possible by the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund, provided through Regional Arts Australia, administered in Queensland by Flying Arts Alliance.’

The Regional Arts Fund (RAF) is an Australian Government program designed to benefit regional and remote arts practitioners, arts workers, audiences and communities. The fund is provided through Regional Arts Australia and is administered in Queensland by Flying Arts Alliance.
