Learn about and engage in the rich diversity of Australia’s Indigenous histories, languages and cultures.
This workshop will give educators the tools they need to feel confident incorporating aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage without disrespecting protocols and procedures, and remaining sensitive to issues regarding cultural misappropriation.
Please bring pen and paper or laptop for note-taking, and lunch if required. There are a number of dining options available in close proximity to the venue if needed. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Please note:
The current front entry to the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary is closed for construction. Please enter the building via side door located on Berwick Street through the IMA courtyard.
The workshop space is on Level 4 of the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts. Please follow the Flying Arts signage.
