‘Landscapes- An Art Exhibition’ by Joanne Kerr and Carmen Beezley-Drake will open daily 10am to 4pm, from Tuesday 27 July until Tuesday 3rd August at the Richard Randall Art Studio, Mt Coot-tha Gardens, Toowong and both artists will be in attendance to talk with visitors.
The works featured, demonstrate their own sense of place through paint, collage and drawing, while exploring the varying landscapes of Queensland. B
oth artists use drawing extensively, which they rearrange to create their own re-imagined landscapes through a variety of medium.
While Carmen’s art practice consists predominately of media such as oil, acrylic and watercolours, Joanne works with collage and mixed media on wood panels and paper.
Carmen Beezley-Drake and Joanne Kerr are contemporary visual artists based in Rockhampton and Brisbane respectively. This will be the seventh joint exhibition for these award-winning artists.
