Colours of Queensland is the touring exhibition of the Queensland Regional Art Awards 2016.
Artists were asked to consider what brings colour, vibrancy and life to their local community or region.
Thirty five artists from all corners of Queensland were chosen by exhibition curator Andrew Baker to exhibit. The exhibition features 6 award winning works by artists from Ipswich to Kuranda, accompanied by 30 additional works by regional artists from Mornington Island to Goondiwindi, Townsville to Chinchilla, and many locations in between.

“A wonderful selection of artworks showing the broad talent within regional Qld. Congratulations to all!” – Gallery Visitor
Feedback from Exhibition Opening
“In ‘the Colours of Queensland’ we can see efforts well spent by those who know the cost it takes to be an artist in this society, for those of us who recognise the value they create in our culture by taking that path.”
