Artist and long-term arts educator Leigh Schoenheimer will lead you through a process of navigating abstraction through a philosophy of modernism and abstraction.

Reference to and appropriation of the work of Modern and Post-Modern artists provides a contemporary context for exploring lenses and the material world. This workshop is relevant to artists and arts workers who want to develop their skills in contemporary abstract art. It also includes direct links to the Visual Arts Senior Syllabus, providing teachers with ideas and scaffolding for delivering Unit 1, Art as Lens.
