Workshop Title: Mosaic - Individual Treasures

Tutor: Pamela Denise

Workshop summary: This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the brilliant practice of mosaic and to encourage them in their arts practice. This workshop is delivered over two sessions. Create either a work on the flat, on a 400mm x 400mm paver suitable for external installation, or a work on the round, which is a gorgeous mirror mosaic ball (200mm diameter).

Audience: Primary School, Secondary School, Young People, Adults (Maximum number in workshop 15)

Workshop Title: Mosaic Major Installation

Tutor: Pamela Denise

Workshop summary: This is an amazing workshop is designed to facilitate the installation of a lage mosaic by a group of people within a short time (i.e. 5 – 10 days). Potential projects include: commemorative pavements, concrete outdoor furniture, signage, totem poles, garden features, and wall panels

Workshop Title: Recycled Mosaic Masks

Tutor: Claudia Williams

Workshop Summary: This workshop is a basic insight into the ancient art form of mosaics. Participants will learn about contemporary mosaic practice and will incorporate recycled materials like kitchenware (cake tins, jugs, saucepans, cups, teapots and sauces) and brightly coloured ceramic tiles to construct a sculptural mask.
