Workshop Title: Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Workshop Summary: This workshop will explore personal and domestic environments through practical hands-on activities as well as through a formal slide show presentation. The workshop is designed to encourage participants to develop skills related to responding to their immediate environment by working with materials not commonly associated with art. The use of photography and video will be used to develop their work further by creating outcomes in different mediums. The workshops will be playful, colourful, fun and inspire participants to examine personal concerns through contemporary art. Participants will produce a number of new constructions, photographs and/or videos during the workshops to take home.
