Workshop Title: Connecting Artists and the World

Tutor: Corrie Wright

Workshop Summary:Part one will be an artist talk outlining a relational approach for an artist’s process. These relational approaches consider an arts practice that uses various approaches to connect to others. These intentions include collaboration and interaction on various levels. Part two investigates internet blogging and how it can be a valuable tool for artists to utilise their research, documentation and educational processes for wider applications. Blogging for the documentation of the creative process is made clear through this workshop. Simple demonstration of the blogging interface will guide participants through to a clearer understanding of how blogs can assist artists in their own working processes.
