The unique light, the vast scale, the silence, the astonishing colours and remarkable landforms are always a source of wonder and excitement to me. Also there is that extra dimension – the ancient rock art, some (the ‘Bradshaw’ or ‘Gwion’ rock art) being highly sophisticated and dating back to artists of more than 20,000 years ago.’ He has made a number of painting trips elsewhere in remote Australia and to the exotic landscapes of north India and Oman and has also painted in parts of Europe. His work is in selected galleries including AGRA Gallery (Melbourne), Al Madina Gallery (Muscat), Majlis Gallery (Dubai), Design Arts Centre (Dubai), Lovell Diversions Gallery (Kununurra West Aust).
