Artist Statement

This painting was completed in 2004. The image is loosely based on a glass-front corporate skyscraper and the resulting reflections. Viewed up close, the painting has a graphic feel; from a distance of more than 22 feet (6.5m) or more there is a sensation of space. The work is a wry comment on the implied impact of the corporate world on the natural world.
