Access Arts works in partnership with people experiencing disability or disadvantage and their communities to provide access to arts and cultural services, workshops and events. It offers entry level workshops, training and employment pathways and mentoring to artists. It also works with arts and cultural venues and festivals to promote and support accessibility, providing services such as disability awareness training and assistance to develop and implement disability action plans on a fee for service basis. Access Arts recognises the value of working with regional and remote communities by invitation to deliver sustainable arts and cultural projects developed in partnership with communities and tailored to meet their unique needs. It is currently developing a number of regional arts projects in partnership with Flying Arts.
Artisan is the peak body in Queensland presenting and promoting unique and individual quality crafted design to an Australian and International audience. It presents exhibitions of high calibre situating art, craft and design, within our culture, time, and place. The gallery program profiles innovation and expertise in both conceptual resolution and technical brilliance. Artisan’s leads the development of the sector through the creation of opportunities including: retail through artisan’s designer store (m)art, seminars and mentoring programs, exhibition development and touring, export, artist referrals, lecturing and critical writing, Corporate Gifts and corporate commissioning.
Q Music is Queensland’s peak body for the contemporary music industry, representing, developing and servicing all sectors of the Queensland contemporary music industry on both national and international levels. It is the first point of contact for many emerging artists and industry professionals looking to establish networks, create partnerships and obtain and share information that will assist in the development of the next generation of Australian music. Q Music works with regional communities on a fee for service basis to provide professional development for musicians and provide opportunities such as recording and song writing workshops for artists.
Flying Arts has teamed up with complementary arts service organisations to ensure that regional and remote artists and communities can access the widest possible range of arts and cultural services.

Backbone is one of Queensland’s leading Youth Theatre companies specialising in performing arts workshops for children and young people. The core program includes workshops in: mime, clown and mask; character development using text as a stimulus; playbaking – creative pal making; and physical theatre. Addition workshops are available in directing, multimedia in performance, improvisation and scriptwriting. Workshop timing and length is flexible based on the needs of individual groups, ranging from one day to one week.
