The annual Regional Art Awards has been a feature of the Flying Arts program since 2004. 

The awards bring together visual artists from all around Queensland in a celebration of regional and remote artists and the extraordinary places in which they live.  See the entrants from the 2008 RAA here and the 2008 online gallery here.

In 2010 the Regional Art Awards will again be a hallmark event in the Flying Arts calendar. The refreshed new look awards will begin as an online event and exhibition and conclude with a curated regional touring exhibition in 2011.
