Sculpting the animal form Cezary Stulgis
![]() In this workshop, participants will build small-scale models with wire, wood, plaster and clay. The aim is to provide participants with the craftsmanship and methods of seeing and observing and manual skills of making small-scale sculptures. The participants will learn and understands the basics of dealing with 3D form, the process of shifting from 2D to 3D, analysing the animal form and learning the foundations of sculpture for further sculptural exploration. 3D art for projects, processions, celebrations and theatre Wanda Bennett This is a series of workshops designed to give an introduction to “making for performance”. The classes will cover simple techniques useful for making lanterns, puppets, environmental sculpture, costumes and props. Cane, bamboo, paper and fabric will be the main materials used and participants will be given the opportunity to discuss, design and create a variety of art works. A CP FSE TPD Download Wanda's outline here Mould Making and Casting Jo Cruickshanks Participants will learn the methods and techniques for making latex moulds and casting 3 dimensional objects. We will look at casting relief pieces and then move on to split moulds for your sculptural work. In this workshop session we will use clay for modelling, latex for mould making and plaster for casting.
