This workshop will introduce students with drawing experience to the technique of scratchboard (a.k.a. scraper-board). Working with both black and white clayboard, we will explore the creation and representation of different textures and subjects. We will also spend time experimenting with various tools (sandpaper, wire brushes, etc.) and different methods for applying ink and colour. This workshop will encourage students to interact and learn from each other’s experiences. In addition, we will discuss value and composition.  A SS
